XIII пролетен симпозиум на Европейската академия по дерматология и венерология

Форумът ще се проведе от 19 до 22 май в Атина

In my capacity as Chairperson of the 13th Spring Symposium of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) and on behalf of the local organising committee, I am delighted to welcome you in Athens. The Symposium’s theme ‘Moving Boundaries’ has been selected to reflect upon the daily challenges that we, as physicians, are confronted with in our endeavour to expand our specialty towards new and fascinating territories, and in keeping up with the ever-changing world of skin diseases.
Focusing in all areas of dermatology and venereology, we have taken on a promise to provide a scientific program that will include the best of new and innovative treatment modalities, developed in accordance with the vastly growing medical technologies. These will be presented through the eyes and expertise of distinguished speakers who will share their knowledge and experience, leaving all participants with just that extra bit of know-how at the end.
On a social note, aside from the glorious warm weather and bright sunny days that will envelop Athens during the month of May, this city has many perks and exciting things to offer. Widely referred to as the cradle of Western civilisation and the birthplace of democracy, Athens is one of the world’s oldest cities. Whether you visit the well-known historical locations of Ancient Greece, dine in one the quaint or more recently modernised tavernas in the city’s hidden streets, or even if you choose to go beyond the city and visit the beautiful beaches or nearby islands, one thing is certain: every visitor will find that special attraction to suit their own taste.
I look forward to welcoming you in this historic and charming city for a stimulating experience that will remain memorable to anyone who participates in EADV’s traditional Spring Symposium.
